My insurance company and me have a very interesting relationship. I've just told them that if they raise rates because of other peoples screw ups than I'm gone.

Is there a big "uninsured motorist" problem in Canada? It's a pretty common problem here.

I think it's something like 10% are uninsured in Alberta. We have a lot of old shitboxes around here. Plus people dodging spousal/child support payments find its cheaper to drive an uninsured shit box than pay up.
    So far yup. Fingers crossed!

Yes but most tourists aren't that talented.
I watched a group of Japanese tourists take 20 minutes to park a Ford Excursion this summer. It was painful to watch. And a little nerve wracking as Toy was in the spot next to where they were trying to park. I was about ready to pull the guy from the behind the wheel and do it for them but I know in their culture women aren't supposed to be dominant.

    :(

Well I have to touch up those pics a little since they were taken on the fly.

agreed. i don't understand the point of it

I used to get insomnia in the summertime pretty bad - i think the amount of sunlight upped my energy level and I never felt tired so I never slept. i learned to adjust my activity level to make myself more tired.

 you're alive! i figured you'd end up in a Thai prison or something....

The rangers frown on such activities

Pretty sure this is the same elk a few years ago. I didn't see them at all last year so I was a little worried :(

    no.
i hate trophy hunters. hunting to feed your family is one thing but shooting an animal just because you can pisses me off to no end.
besides...shooting him would be a federal offense. He's in Yellowstone.

 was a slow picture day until the end when i saw all of the elk. was still a good trip though
