To all who may be having this same issue. I change brake rotors but still shakes, again only when I press on the brakes. Could this be a toyota thing because my wifes 2001 sequoia is doing the same thing. Please advise.

Typically a rotor issue. Rotor may not be seating flush, either with debris behind the rotor or uneven pressure mounting the wheels.

Did you replace the pads as well?

I would rotate tires front to rear and if you are doing this yourself also check the mounting surface to be sure it is clean and free of debis on both the inside and outside of rotor. Then be sure to properly torque the wheels

    Thanks for the feed back.
Yes I did change the pads. Will double check debris behind rotors and retorque. The shaking is all in the steering wheel. Will get back.

Front rotors are warped, yes even new ones can be, or debris is keeping rotor from seating all the way. If tires were bad or out of balance it would do it all the time not just while braking.
