Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
They were bith pretty bad.. they sucked ebiugh I don't know which one to like less..

I didn't do enough research to have a valid argument as to which one is actually better or worse since they are both so bad. Then, even if I did figure out which one was a better person its likely the othed one wiuld be better at the job.

Thought presidents were supposed to have some qualities. . This time around they were scdaping the bottom of the barrel for sure.

California... it would make sense that that state has short bed majority

As long as I can haul a dirt bike and be okay with the occasional trip to lowes/home depot, short bed is fine and is better during everyday driving.

If I need to haul something larger, Uhaul has trailers for about $25/day. I've only needed them twice in the last 3 years.

Haha as if the home depot doesn't get enough of mh money already. Now jn oreder to make a trip there I would have to rent a uhaul?

    Hahahah

I'm not hating on you man, if it works for you then enjoy. I got a load of studs and drywall last night and with the long bed it was no sweat. Leave the gate up and stack it in..when I had the short bed I had to fight not olny the shorter box but those STUPID MOTHER F IN WHEEL WELLS in the front of the bed.

It's all about frequency. I don't need a long bed 99% of the time. One the occasional time that I need more space, I rent a trailer (as stated, twice in 3 years). The majority of my time, I care more about the ability to whip in and out of parking spots and the handling of the vehicle; which I feel the SB is better at. Either will haul the 3 kids comfortably enough for a second vehicle.

If I needed to haul drywall and construction supplies more often, I would go for a long bed, or more likely, a Tundra.

I went with the access cab. Same turning radius etc as the double cab with a small diet. Also I only have one kid to be hauling around so no issue. I don't have to hual drywall very often but there is always something to hual, if its not buulding supplies for remodeling my house, its landscaping supplies for my yard or furniture or truck parts, or gear for the weekend..

If I lived a boring life with no hobbies and no projects maybe I could live with a shortbed...

Lol. And a tundra seems to be the answer.. as if t would be less of PITA than a long bed tacoma.

The tundra is a fat, ugly truck with stupid tall bedsides that make it a PITA to use as a truck. Then add in the fact that it has no ground clearance and its a clear win for the tacoma. If I had to tow more than I do I might consider one buy the only options I could care about are a practical very work friendly tacoma. Or a workhorse 2500 or 3500 series truck to tow a million pounds.. half ton trucks are pathetic in the way they take everything bad from both midsize and large work trucks and blend them together into on big stupid poser mobile.
