I bought 16's on the cheap....

 

I'm looking for some BS 285's to play with. I have two that I'll have to regroove the center of the tread. Won't have the slush funds to get some good ones till after Christmas, think I'm going to get some 255/85 km2s around then.

Tires are killing me, I've got a bad bead leak on one of mine I need to take care of. Plus my wife has ran over about 8 nails in the last couple of months. I'll be putting tires on the 4runner before I can spend much more on my truck. :/

 

I've been contemplating selling my 285/70r17s but I'd have to have enough in the bank to bridge the gap to 35x12.50r17 KM2s first

 

Cause Travis and I got into the ORI's and that's deff the way I'm going to go but that's another $1,300 on top of the check to marlin to make rpms peg... Once those two items are in I will be doing everything plus the new shop cause I can't justify taking up my little space right now... I am going in for a job tomorrow though so my side stuff may slow down some if all goes well! Sooner I have a weekly check coming in the sooner the shop goes up and new goodies arrive.. Sliders aren't cutting the bill right now but I'll continue to do them among other things on the side and weekends

Plus I can get 35's now and have them ready for when the swap is done.. An my km2's are about shot, did quite a lot of heating on them in Alabama to get over some washed out trails.. And I just want that little extra clearence 35's will provide even ifs till the swaps done.. I plan to get a new dd as well so it wouldn't kill me to have them on the truck at all times.. & I don't really need them to be a mud tire, all terrains will suffice for me in 35 for either 16-17" wheel
