    Indeed. Toyota's fuel pump is $672. URD's kit with a fuel pump that will support 1000HP and is safe for use with alcohol is $199. Seemed like a no brainer to me.

    Just like everything else on them. haha You could have a driveshaft shop make you a nice driveshaft for half the price of buying a new OEM one. Front and rear bumpers cost about the same as aftermarket plate bumpers. You can buy a whole LT kit or a nice MT front end for the price of the OEM's UCA's and LCA's.

    Also, when/ how did you realize you needed another pump/ ?

    I just replaced a buddies 90 something honda fuel pump on the side of the road with a full tank in there. His just 'died' and vehicle shut off due to the starved engine. Boy was that a challenge. He did not want to drain it into other fuel cannisters. All mine were full and so was the truck! he was strapped for cash and daylight was fading fast. SO with a jack and lots of brute force. we droped it and put her back up. less than a cup of spilled fuel.
