POS rear shocks are leaking oil





Should I rebuild them?

 

of course you know the answer, but i rode on mine for a few months before i went to foxes on my old taco. if you plan on froading soon, yea rebuild them

 

anthony250 is the local shock guru around here and soon as im not lazy and oder a rebuild kit im gonna have him rebuild and revalve my C/O's

They ride rough now so I think I'm going to for the meantime

Yea I know, he rebuilt them once when hiatt had them...
He also rebuild my kings before I bought them...I sent him the pics and text him

Man I'm jealous I wish I couldve gone good job on the truck matt it looks good ( minus the hoops on the bumper) but nonetheless its just an opinion

To be quite honest, my Icons on stock arms rode better on the street and on gravel roads, but the LT really shined in the big stuff.

Whoops and berms on Pole Line felt like nothing, the bigger whoops hurt because the rear is completely wrong for that type of stuff, but I didn't feel the bumps in the front. I actually made it up Blowsand for the first time, because I was able to get enough speed through the whoops at the bottom. Before, I had to roll over them and failed because no momentum.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with it. Going to revalve the Kings a little, and possibly add adjusters but other than that it was fine.

What I don't get is why everyone is so worked up over the Spidertrax. Stock spindles with TC gussets just don't clear the tires...I have no other choice.

 

lol yea you where, you didnt want to lift your truck and add bigger tires because you didnt want to lose mileage...
i thought after i added fenders and the lt with bumper my mpgs would change...they stayed the same

Oh yeah that. Thought you were referring to your ig post. Hey with as much driving as I do i want as many mpgs as I can get haha. I have a friend who told me he would do a straight trade with me. He's got icons and 33s and he'd would trade me and go back to stock. But he's got 20 in rims so I don't wanna do it. Yeah registering for my truck would be way less stressful haha

going to see if pelfrey can make me some custom hoops this month for the rear (a bit taller than the ones he has for sale now)

 

Hahaha this is funny because me and my girl just registered at target for a house warming (first apartment warming) party and the whole time i was thinking the same exact thing. Dam toaster lol

Idk. She is planning it. Its just a small thing. Its only an apartmemt lol. Just have a couple people over for food and drinks and chillin. More of a get together than a party

exactly what i was thinking. we're gonna move out together, lets get people to buy us our essentials! when me and my chick moved out we were sitting on foldable camping chairs for a month before we scrounged enough dough for an ikea couch.
