I'll tell ya who it was, it's the damn Sasquatch.

Ordered my scope today. Nikon Prostaff 5 2.5-10x40. Also ordered some federal premium vital shok trophy bonded tip 180 grain. Heard good things. Always used Remington core lokt bullets before.

Nope. I've got a Pawn Shop here that always has a few 100 round boxes of CCI. They were limiting 1 box per person. Don't know about now. I bought some 350 round boxes from Cabela's a while back. Website said they didn't have it in stock, but someone on here said if you called them, they actually had it, so I gave it a shot and sure enough, was able to get 2 boxes.

I was walking to my stand of off HWY 61. Soon as I got close enough I saw a Big ole deer run from one of my corn pile to other, right on the Ashley river. He was looking dead at me. Hell I was more shocked them him. I then slowly pulled my Browning 7mm around on my shoulder, And folded his ass up. He had no choice but to drop being less then 25 yrs. I was so stoked!!! It was to easy that day, But then I found myself dragging a 162 lb buck 350+ yards out the wood.

    Here's his ass today :yay:

Yeah, my local gun shop only sells boxes of 50, but you can only get 1 box at a time. Wal Mart and Academy can't tell anyone when shipments arrive, so whenever I go to either one, they're sold out. All the online stores are always out of stock too.

Anyway, I have a friend who's dad owns a hydrographic machine and they dipped a buck skull last week. So badass:

Here is the last deer I killed, back in 2010. I have been so busy with school and currently do not have access to land to hunt. :( When I graduate in May I will focus on finding a spot to hunt.

    5100's all around. Front's set at 1.75" 265/75/16 Duratracs.

I have had the same problem. I haven't been in the woods in 5 years because of school and not enough time to find land. I have a couple of farms that I am going to gun hunt this year and hopefully I will be back into deep woods shape next year.

same here. I'm a senior in college right now, but am fortunate enough to have family with land to hunt, so I get to go at least 4-5 times a year if school's not too busy.

Finally got my first buck with a bow saturday evening.
Had 2 bucks about 70 yards from me fighting. 6pt and an ugly 5pt. They started to walk away and were grunting. I got my grunt call out and and grunted once and they came running. Barely had time to pull my bow back by the time they got there. Still had the call in my mouth.

The 6 got 30 yards away and i let one fly. The bow string snatched the string of my grunt call and pulled the damn thing out of my mouth and launched it about 20 yards towards the deer. This of course messed up the arrow and somehow it hit right behind the ribcage and went out the back leg. Ruined the leg, broke the arrow.

I dont think its a bad deer for my first buck.

He went about 40 yds and fell. Hell of a blood trail. Rage 2 broadheads.

funny deer hunting story, years ago i was hunting with my brother. he had never killed a deer and with his new bow. he shoots this 6pt point right in the nut sack area, deer drops right there and dies. talk about beginners luck.
