Yes, I'm an Alabama fan, and yes, the Gators beat us in the SEC championship... but when it comes to the NC, I'm SEC all the way...

 

Funny how Florida does not talk to much shit about Michigan. Seems they have a problem beating them.

The exception might be Ole Miss, though. Hahaha...

 

We may have lost in a bunch of title games, but you gotta get to the game to have a shot at winning it. Maybe if you took care of business and won the south division once in a while you could prove your self.

Sadly, you can't take care of business in the regular season to get that far.

So, yeah it sucks that we have a sad record in the BCS games the last 6 years. But you haven't been able to even get that far, so cry me a river.

 

Texas is now 3-0 in BCS games, giving the school the second most wins in BCS games without a loss. The only team with more BCS victories without a loss is the LSU Tigers who are 4-0 in BCS games. Mack Brown and the Texas Longhorns now have a 5 game winning streak in bowl games (2 Rose Bowls – 1 for the BCS National Championship, 1 Fiesta Bowl, 1 Holiday Bowl and 1 Alamo Bowl), which now gives the University of Texas the second longest active bowl game winning streak in the nation behind the University of Utah who have won a bowl game for six consecutive years.


Texas has beat oklahomo 3 out of the 4 last shootouts. Big game bob is now 6-4 in the shootout and fading fast.

So if you think loosing 5 BCS games in a row is something to be proud of that proves you are a true sooner.

 

Not understanding the facts makes you a true UT fan. Mack is 4-6 against Bob. Don't see that as something to be proud of on your end. And where did I say losing 5 BCS games was something of which to be proud. I just said that you have to get there to be able to win it. That is something you haven't been able to do. So as sad as our record in that game may be, you don't have the resume to even get into that game. Proud to lose, no. Proud to keep UT on the sidelines, every day.

Yeah plus OU beat Texas 5 in a row.....and gave them some serious beat downs during that time....that's something Horn fans seem to have forgot. The only meaningful win Texas has had over the Sooners since it became Stoops vs Brown was past year and they still didn't win the conference.

 

It seems to me that Texas won a BCS game last year....... hmmmm........

 

Winning a BCS game is great, but what does it matter if you can't win your own conference.....No chance of playing for the BCS title

 

Agreed... and my team did neither last year after starting out 12-0 (DAMMIT!)... but I digress..


I was just pointing out that sooner said 'you have to be there to win it' as if to suggest that UT wasn't making it to BCS games. The fact that they both made it and won theirs last year is evidence to the contrary. That's all...
