Question: Is this code for the light bar mount or can we use this code for the light bar as well? If so, is the price supposed to change when I type in the code?

EDIT: I have just answered my own question. Thanks lol

Just got back from IS. Thanks Calvin! IF you guys are in the bay area, check their little shop out. They have tons of flashlights on display and still expanding. Just hooked up the 20inch double row bar to my battery pack and it work fine. Just hope the poly lens will stand up to rocks and bugs.

Now just waiting for the BAMF bar....and oh yeah.my truck in a month.

Yeah I got that now. I didn't realize it was two different things before. I just bought your mount BTW. Can't wait to get it. Even tho I may mount my new LightForce HID lights on the new plate bumper I may see how they work in the grill first. If the mount doesn't work out for me then it will make someone a wonderful X-Mas present. :D

I guess the single would be brighter because of the 10w bulbs BUT the double has twice as many but are 3w.

    Single Row Lumens 12600
    Double Row Lumens 13200

More lumens equal more visable light

Hmm, actually the double is 120 watts (40 LEDs x 3w each) with 8800 lumens raw output, and the single is 100 watts (10 LEDs x 10w each) with 9000 lumens of raw output. Since the raw lumens per watt for the single is significantly higher, this could mean the 10w LEDs are more efficient, or the reflector is just better, hard to say, but this question has been asked before and no one has really come up with a good answer.

Ultimately its the optics the reflectors that's going to make the difference, and it's not clear which is better. Raw lumens alone are not really best indicator, its really the lux down range that you're interested in, and that isn't available. BTW, I am referencing the 20" bars.

Not really. Lux is what we're really interested in, 1 Lux = 1 Lumen/square meter. So lux is what is going to tell you how much light is actually illuminating whatever is down range. A light bar could be 20,000 lumens, but if the reflector is bad, and it is scattering the light everywhere, it may not perform any better than a 10,000 lumen light bar with a good reflector.

BTW, I received my light on Saturday and my harness today. Just waiting on my mount from BAMF so I can get this puppy working. Half temped to zip tie it to my grill with a block of wood under it tonight just to see how it preforms.

Put me down for a 20" double light bar with a single harness (I believe I can run the light bar with the single harness or do I need a double harness?).

I will order the mount from Jerry's site. Is the price now $45 for the mount?
