    IDK about in a truck...but I trained in a small pursuit boat that had these seats...and one that didn't.

    It made a WORLD of difference. At least two of the guys I trained with had ridden in the non-shocked boat during rough seas and had come back pissing blood. Not useful for completing the mission. Those shock ride seats made it very nice...

    most all tractor trailers have a similar version of them.. they run off air pressure though. we also run them in our fire apparatus. really smooths out the ride for the driver...
