It's an RKI tool box. It's meant to be one for the side of the bed but it fit perfectly in the bed as a no show. So just drilled some holes and attached it to the bed liner. Makes a very convenient seat too :) haha

Took my passenger front side wheel off Saturday to take my old coils/shocks off getting ready for the new Eibach/5100 set up and found this! Hmmmmmm! I should have known right fucking then, how this project was gonna go and just fixed this and claimed a small victory for actually fixing something! Oh but hell know! Took me at least 4 hours to figure out that it wasn't gonna go as planned! I cuss a LOT but I still feel bad for some of the rants I had, my poor dogs thought they were fixing to get the hell beat of them. Good thing, I was the only one at one of 4 river cabins within 5 miles. Needless to say, I'm still running on my old coils/shocks. Maybe I can get it done Saturday! lol

ooooookay well I don't know exactly where "In close proximity to an undisclosed location" is but I do know this antenna looks damn good!

How is the reception in relation to where you live?

It should say I'm in Iowa... I'm still working on the reception. It's good when the antenna is loose, but when I tighten it down the reception goes in the shitter. I'm not sure what the deal is, but I'm going to get a nut for the threaded rod so the antenna bottoms out before it is tight to the mount. It must ground out weird on the chrome ring or something.

Thats the plan, but I'm not ready to take the truck down for an entire weekend to do the 63" swap just yet. I figured I'll stack a few more leafs to gain a couple inches and match the 5100's up front. In the meantime I'll gather what I need to do the 63" the right way. You know... yank the bed, box & plate the rails, weld in shock crossmember, frenched hangers, long shocks, shackles, U-bolt flip, etc etc etc.

What are you running for shocks?

...I, don't know where I got that location then.

Keep us (or me) posted on how that nut works out for the antenna & its reception

I have 5100's and eibachs up front, 5125's out back. Pulled the leafs from a junkyard for $50 and have maybe another $100 in metal that I used to fab spring hangers, box frame, upper crossmember/shock mount, lower shock mounts. Knocked it out in a weekend. If you check out my build thread I took lots of pictures and detailed the process pretty good. I can answer it questions it doesn't too

The only thing I have left to finish the rear is move my shock mounts up, bump stops, remove overlaod, shim the axle, 6" shackles and creeper hangers. And I have 12" 5125's.

    I see you lurking :spy:
