Same here. There's so much more down there. Rent is so damn expensive tho

 

Might be going to Vegas the beginning of dec with comp room to hard rock could make that a half ass bday bash.

 

I only have 1 credit card, thankyouverymuch and it's already halfway paid off



Down here in OC, there are some good prices on homes, but not as much inventory. Really depends on where you go, obviously north county prices are much better. I used to work in Mortgage for 3-4 years and my mom has been a realtor my whole life.

It's cheaper to buy than to rent these days if you can afford the down payment. There's actually an FHA loan now for first time home buyers in CA, where you only pay .5% down at closing. Rates are the lowest they've been so if your credit is good, it might not hurt to get a preapproval then look at what you can afford. I helped many first time buyers that way.

That's my plan, anyway.
