I will do it! I want to be his test truck. I will drive out and we can pin out a plug and play for my ucon and put on a 7th injector grind down my snout and hp and torque here I come!...make it happen Tor!

Hit 8.22 on my plx boost gauge last night. Is that inline with what I should expect with my mods?

 

I believe std boost is 6-6.5 and running urd pully will give you approx 25% more so that would be in line. Gadget will probably be able to give you the exact numbers expected. Btw im following with interest your continued path/quest for power. I stopped at headers/exhaust but quite interested in the fuel monitor and chip upgrade. So im currently watching your post before making that 2k decision. Keep em coming please.

 

Thanks for the intrest and comments! It is an ongoing project for sure. I am going to give URD a few months to see if they come out with the plug and play ucon, if not I will be hacking up my ecu wires to put it in. Boost is addicting for sure!

 

So tonight i did another 40-to 90 run and hit 8.49 on the boost gauge. I think It was 7 to 8 sec, hard for me to measure. Just think what she will do when she is tuned with the Ucon.

My NST crank lite pulley came in the mail tonight. Hope to put it in this weekend.

I think 7.5 is pretty damn quick, and will only improve with what you are planning.

 

Tor, I looked all over to find a good write up on how to install the NST Crank Lite Pulley and couldn't find one. You have a link to help me out?
Another question too. My afr goes way lean when I am coasting sometimes, clear to 20, is that normal, or bad unichip bs?

 

It is rather simple actually. Fan and shroud removed. Then the accessory belt. Then since yours is an automatic, you will need a compact impact gun. Unless you have a flat bar that has two holes in it to fit into the bolt hole on the pulleys, as well as allow access to the 22mm crank bolt.

 

too add to this you'll need an impact gun that makes more than 550 ft-lbs.

 

NST crank lite pulley went on this weekend. I took a quick test drive and really couldn't tell a difference. I will update in two weeks. See if at least improves my mileage.

 

On your brakes, install stainless lines on all 4 wheels (Goodridge). I also put Hawk pads on the front. That was a nice improvement over stock, but I would still like more stopping power. Especially with a stronger engine!

 

went from brembo blanks and hawk lts with ss lines to ebc stage 5 kit.......brakes nicely, low wind noise, not much dust imho, no other noises.
