I think you meant 7.62 NATO right? 308?
The 7.62 x39 is barely accurate out of my non chrome lined ak barrel. My ar has better accuracy.

Blackhawk meant 7.62x39. Commie ak round

This is my 20" rifle. I wanted a longer gun but I dont like the carry handle so I opted for a flat top. I still have the gun but it sports a collapsable stock now

PWS MK1 Any thoughts on this gun? Also looking at an ACR. Would be first rifle (only want one), though not first gun. Shot a lot of different things over the years, but am looking to purchase again.

Yeah, I'm watching YouTube clips and reading up on it, and the few bad things seem to be minor. Just haven't read much on any others yet to compare. Wish I paid much better attention to the ARs I've fired, but was never in the market for one before. The store in Burbank is having deals on Sigs, but I don't want to spend the time building one. Would rather grab and go, you know? :D

That's great, Tooter, I love the look of those old rifles. Pure function, The Black Rifle!

Great varminter! I like your setup. I'm sure you can get sub-1" groups!

Kinda transitional right now. I had a Nikon 3x9 on it before for prairie dogs, and a cheap bi p od. Could get a 1" group with the right ammo on the right day:) but its not freefloated . So when the opportunity came for the ACOG 4x, i took it. I kept the 1" riser, which looks high but allows see-thru to the iron sights and comes to the eye very naturally. I'd like a better quality stock next, Magpul maybe.

I wanted to build a varminter, but already have a dedicated bolt gun for that and both of my M&P 15 carbines shoot sub MOA anyhow so im pretty covered. Still want though.

Yeah its easy to get a good group with a bolt gun, by design! I guess I still don't have a dedicated varmint gun, although I've been using a Deerfield in 44mag with some success.

I build custom AR's, AK's,etc... and do gun smith work while I am working on my 2nd degree in school. Here is a video of just some of the guns I have built, need to actually update it. School has just been so busy...

I ordered a new Stripped lower from PSA yesterday. Couldnt pass up a $60 lower. Not sure what the build will be though. Im thinking either a pistol build or a 6.8 hog gun. With black friday coming up there will be great deals to be had though.

Troy usually has their rails at 30% off

Yeah, it's real old school. ;)
After I came home from Vietnam and got out of the Army, I bought one as a souvenir. Too bad they're not available in full auto like I had in the Army.
