Speaking of sleeping babies, Joseph is finally sleeping through the night and in his own room! I haven't slept this good in months!

 

Good for you! We made that switch at around 6 months, and it was a world of improvement for everyone.

 

I think this was just discussed a few days ago...

What is the bearing in the front end that hums like an SOB (sounds like you're running mud terrains, goes away when you engage 4WD)? I thought it was a wheel bearing starting to die, turns out its the other one.

 

Its the CV needle bearing. The fix is to replace it with a ECGS bushing.

Damn, he's not even 3 months yet, hopefully we didn't switch him in too early. We've got the monitor set up and it's only across the hall. His room stays warmer than ours, figured he'd like that better anyways.

 

No such thing as too early or late, it's all as simple as "whatever works for you".

We've found the Motorola monitor is an absolute dream. The 33 or the 36 do a wonderful job. We picked up the 33, and I mounted the cam up on the wall so it looks down into the crib.

Hopefully the stealership will do this for free! I love having a brand new truck sometimes.

We don't have that exact one, but we have the same type of monitor. Ours has the video and audio, they're great! The night vision is pretty impressive on it also.

 

I didn't realize how crazy baby monitors had for until a few months ago we were at a friends house having a bonfire. They put the baby to sleep and we were outside by the fire, and they just whipped out a iPhone and opened some app and they could watch/ control the monitor with it. Pretty cool

If it is lifted they will refuse.

 

Depends on the dealer and how good your pursuasion technique is but generally, driveline problems on a lifted truck you're SOL as far as warranty goes.

 

I'll remain optimistic until the say no. They did just replace the outer CV boot under warranty, which IMO qualifies as a driveline issue.
It also helps that one of the service reps and I use the same babysitter who lives next door
