    Fu! So jelly.

    However it has been snowing a bit in the mountains. Yesturday I wanted to see how much we got, so I went up to play around. And I managed to land a couple backside 3s while jumping a shovel i brought on about an inch of packed snow. My friend said I had a problem lol.



    Been at school for 12 hours now. Decided to get almost all my work done in one day so I wast rushing at the end. Almost 6 classes worth of work done in one day (only had one class today because the other got cancelled). Finally almost finished haha. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to eat something tonight

    ahhh the 12 hour shift..i remember those days..hell my freshman year was 14 hour days at the school..but i was doing mostly music stuff and audio.

    My plan is to get enough pre season riding in that I dial in my fs and bs 360s, and basic rail game before the ski hill even opens
    Haha ya. Getting everything done during the week so I can work all weekend. So awesome.

    No 255/85R16's?

    Like Marc said I think the MTR's are where it's at. Stronger sidewalls should hopefully mean less sidewall punctures. You've already had one and now you have mix matched tires from it...

    Yea next go around for me it'll be mtr's or toyo oc mt's

    but probably mtr since the toyo mt is so damn heavy... and ben were they the original mtr or the new mtr? no tire is impervious to sticks either haha

    I have never punctured my KM2's so I'll be staying with them. I have seen the Kevlar punctured as well.

    A 255/85/16 is a whole 0.004 inches taller than 255/80/17 by the math. They are basically the exact same size that is why I asked why you didnt mention the 255/85 but did mention the 255/80.

    The MTR's are not invincible but I've seen more people kill KM2's than MTR's now. Hell Logan has killed 8 of them but has yet to kill his Goodyear MT's. Haha

    Nyco had a nail go into his sidewall on his MTR's and the side wall literally stopped the nail. When they took the tire off there was a buldge where the nail was pushing on the sidewall but never went through.

    The math says a 235/85R16 is a 31.7" X 9.25" tire, but that can vary depending on the manufacturer. Ben is currently running 235/85R16 KM2's with a KO in the same size.

    Tread width and rated tire width are different numbers as well for tires typically. My 255/85R16 KM2's are basically a 33" x 10" tire but the tread width is only 7" which makes them appear even skinnier.

    Tirerack.com is a really good website for that typically. They even have the tire specs of some tires that the manufacturers website doesn't list in my experience with them.

    I wonder if they do their own testing and measuring to get those numbers, if so they may actually be more accurate.

    but then you'll have to find 5 17" wheels :confused: that doesnt seem cheaper
