Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...

my bfg mt's are chunked, cut, and gashed after 3 good trips on the rocks. probably 15-20k on them and about half wear. i've got about 3-4k on my TG's and i cant tell the difference from brand new besides the nipples being gone. i also to not plan on wheeling these like the others either.

my treads are pretty chunked, but i have one gash that is about 1/4" at least into the tire sidewall...should be replaced, but i'll wheel it til it blows. my spare is a new bfg mt to match them

well dont applaud too loud...i'm running 33" TG's and my bfg's are 32"...lol. i'm not buying 2 different spares. i figure that more than likely i'll get a flat from that dead bfg before i do on these TG's so i'll wait until that happens to get a new 33" spare

I've had them for about 9 months, roughly 10k miles and I really like them. I don't offroad much, more in sand dunes than mud and rocks. Mine appear to be wearing very well, no damage at all. Very little road noise and great traction, comfortable ride. I have the P rated, so they are a little softer. I drive mostly highway. For $480 I wouldn't complain if I had a complaint :).

My bf's duramax goes through tires in 20-30k no matter what brand, but that is with a lot of very heavy towing so he runs E rated tires.

Wasn't an argument, just posting about what I've read, what other's have posted & my own experience with them just like you have. One view doesn't equal every view possible. Wasn't calling you out, addressing you personally or questioning your 3 yrs of "expertise" & wasn't attempting to negate anyone else's view either so take that or leave it.

Ditto on the sharing & I don't do anonymous rep of either kind so others must have been impressed one way or another enough to leave some.

    Back to the tire talk...................

Wow, I normally really dislike the look of the nitto tires. (They look too flashy, like they're for highschool 18y/o wannabes)

But those Trailgrapplers look damn good.

I might have to have a look see when they come out.
