On the LR ones, I've read a few posts about problems with bushings?
Would it be worth it to add 200 more and buy some uniball arms? Other than alignment issues I don't see a big advantage in buying the most expensive CAs

    Hahahahah.
I mean I know the difference between ball joints and uniballs. Obviously the Uniballs have more travel. But if we're just buying the UCAs to help with alignment and the LRs work (for the guys who aren't HUGE offroad era like every other day) the LRs seem to be the right choice?

Probably the route I'm gonna go. Because I'm going to add the top plate spacer to make it a full 3". On the Dakar OME leaf pack it shows 2.5", so will I need a .5" block? Or will it probably sit level with 3" in the front and 2.5" in the back?

It should still have a little rake... Maybe an inch or so higher in the rear. I
Ike rake but a lot of guys don't. I wouldn't get the blocks

I wonder what an average estimate would be to have the OME installed? I know I could do it, but living in an apt and all my tools/shop back home in Louisiana, it'd be a hassle

I paid $350... Worth it to me. It would have taken me a lot longer and I know it's done right and if I have any issues I can just take it back. That was everything

Yea I'm just going 886 with the OME and trim packer. I'm ordering front/rear plate bumpers from Iron Bull next week. Then looking to get the Iron Cross step bars.

Is there a place in Phoenix that may have the OME lift in stock and I could just have them install it as well? I'd rather have it done up there I think

They can get OME products pretty quick and Kyle does a great install job! Kyle has done all my work on my truck, and the things i've done it has taken me 2-3 times as long ..

Cool deal, I will give him a call in the morning and let him know the time frame I'd like to get this done.

    Thanks

Ok, Will @ SE quoted me 1,600 for the lift, installed, and aligned… Seem fair? Lift is around 1,200 alone

Check Downsouth Motorsports they have the full OME kit for $1169 with free shipping. I think it beats Sierra Expeditions they charge for shipping.

    DSM is $1,234.99 shipped
    SE is $1,188.07 shipped

Both charge shipping because the leaf packs weigh so much. So I guess I just need to bite the bullet and order the kit from SE Tuesday. Kinda sucks cause he said I probably wouldn't get it until the 25-27th, because I'll be on a TDY to Vegas from Dec 1-14…
I also need to get my Iron Bull bumpers, Iron Cross step bars and all the lighting that I want as well. The tacoma is about to get ALOT of mods.

Plus she will be paid for around June!

I stand corrected, I have a Iron Bull bumper on my dodge. They are good quality and good people to deal with. Good luck

No problem man! I've looked on eBay, and any other retailer I've found and SE has been the cheapest.

I didn't realize that Iron Bull was in AZ. So I called them and well ill just say they quoted me a price I couldn't say no to!!!

Ok well I just ordered the FULL OME kit. (10% off black friday deal) I didn't add the spacers, it came with trim packer, 886 springs, full Dakar leaf packs, didn't add the rear stone guards, and I also had them assemble the coils/struts for me. Yes a shop would have done it a little cheaper probably, but this way hopefully I can just do the install in a day in the parking lot where I live.

I need to order 4 leaf spring bushings, SE has them for around $45 shipped I think for 4, anyone else know a place I can order some?

EDIT: nvm on the bushings, I guess Toytec installs bushings in the Dakars

So is anyone up or a mod day?
Will include putting on both front and rear armor as well as my OME lift. I have hand tools, experience and skill, but no impact and space other than the parking lot to do the install
