So after a long workday I came home to find the Mirrors w/ turn single from parts geek came in so I took some pics. Front and back then the outers are after I took the mirror out and back off and the wire harness. I hope this just will be a plug and play.

It was a little tricky. I don't know your experience level. Ive been a mechanic for 14 years so it was not that hard for me. But if it's to tricky for you I would use the painters tape and spend the time to tape it off real well and paint it that way.

Tacos (Sport edition) earlier than '12 never had integral blinkers in their mirrors, I wouldn't count on the wiring being in place for a swap.

my understanding was to go from stock mirrors to these sport mirrors it was right around $500 in parts... i also believe it will be P&P...
you need sport mirrors plus covers... $250 a side?

Really good I can't tell the difference in them, when I held them together. I'm going to do the switch in two weeks or so. I will post pic of the of the two tougher.

I have some bad news the mirror does plug right in but it does not play? the turn signal does not come on? I've tried every thing i can think of the only thing that i might try is to call a dealer and see if the ECU needs to be reflashed. so it will recognize the mirror turn signals. does any one have any outer ideas?

You sure you're pre-wired for it?

If the power mirror adjuster works, only thing I can think of is that it's missing the wiring from the fuse/junction box on the driver side, to the plug on the door.

There is a DIY somewhere in the forums. Wire Tap into your signal wire near the cabin fuse box. You'll get them to work

So for those of us who it is not plug and play for, there are 2 missing wires. One for the ground and one to the fuse box correct? I understand that I need to "tap into" the turn signal wire in the fuse box? Would I just need to buy extended wiring from somewhere like Home Depot and extend the wire from the door harness to the ground and fuse box? Just want to be clear before I dive into it.

    Thanks for the help.

Bump.. Looking to do this tomorrow and was hoping someone may have recently done it as well. My main questions are:

    1. Do I need to purchase more wiring to extend from the mirror harness to the fuse box? If so, what kind?

    2. How do I tap into the existing turn signal wiring to allow the mirrors to work in sync with the turn signals?

    Thanks again guys.

For my 2012 OFF Road, this is exactly what I had to do. I posted a wiring diagram of what I found in a previous post. The door wiring was intact, and the wires were present in the fuse panel but missing somewhere in between. Ground the white black wires on each side and tap into the pink and blue / white wires.
