    Hi Guys,

Ok, so thanks to the following thread I believe I can successfully setup my under carriage lighting by tapping into the dome light.

Now, I want to extend this method by taping into my setup in order to get my bed lighting setup too. I have included this diagram of what I had in mind, could it be possible? is this setup I have in mind safe?

So the idea is to have the second switch in the back to be able to control manually when need too or have it switched to auto on with dome.

basically, there would be a 2nd switch in the back just like here:

I guess am looking for confirmation if my proposed setup would work, has anyone tried doing it this way?

There is always a first time. Do it. Be ORIGINAL.

EDIT: why would you want the bed lights to com on when the doors open? I'd personally wire the main power to the switch. If the switch is on, works w doors. Switch off, no bed lights. Do it.
