Since we're on the topic of lighting..

We need to realize that we have a responsibility to protect the public from our lights. Just because you have bright lights doesn't mean you can just drive around with them on. I have some bright ass lights and I use them as much as I can, but only when there are no other vehicles around. As soon as I see another vehicle, the lights get turned off imediately.

    And hunter....

I know you think Boyd is bein a dick to you (and you're right) but it's only because he cares about you. He wants you to see your flaws and be able to improve yourself. I know what it's like to be young and to have all the answers, but as you get older you realize that you don't know as much as you think, and a wise man is one who listens to others and learns from them. You remind us all a lot of Eddie and we don't want you to turn out like him. You're a nice guy and I know you're only trying to help, but how about you keep your posts a little more simple and to the point.
For example, if your fog lights aren't Oem fog lights, don't tell people that the Oem fog lights suck. Mine were great. I wish my pia 510s were half as good as the Oem Toyota ones.

Right? I worked so hard to install a badass setup and barely get to turn them on. One day when I feel more confident in my abilities and in my truck I know I will use them more. Till then they make my truck look sweet and nothing more. I do however use my rear facing lights on my tool box all the time.

*EDIT* I'm getting guard dogs. Best bang for my buck right now and I read enough reviews on them to feel confident that I will like them despite the minor things people hated about them.

Agreed. I know how much power my spots put out and I know that if someone is coming my way they would be hating me. Even aside from that I don't wanna get a ticket from a cop either. It's the same concept as douche's HID'ing without retrofitting.

 My OEM fog lights work great, they are actually holding up better then my head lights. I also have been through a lot of water and they are dry.

I don't have fogs. Apparently Toyota thought that blinkers would be the perfect thing to have in the foglight location. Herp derp.

You should be able to. If one doesn't light up the first time, then try swapping the connector leads. LED's like to have current flowing across them in one direction only. I found that out after spending 3 hours soldering a bunch of them together for a Tony Stark costume, then hooking them up to a battery only to have them do nothing. Swapped the battery connections and I had a happy.

    My experience with oem fogs.
I put cheap hids on mine very soon after buying the car and I'm getting a little condensation from time to time when it rains...
But from the good feed back I read now...I'm blaming the cheap ebay hid bulbs

Haha I already have aftermarket corners that I plan on drilling and doing blackdogs (I think, either that or Madjik) method to make them the turn signals as well but I don't need to until I get a new bumper. I haven't really needed fogs on this truck. I used to use the one's on my bimmer all the time but it's a non issue where I live now.
