cold weather ABU jacket

    I'm looking for a good coldweather ABU jacket similar to a north face or a Columbia. I have the parka with the liner and don't really like it. They have the gore tex one at the military clothing store in the bx. Its to dang noise for me ( I may be wierd but it gets on my nerves). I have a columbia that I love so I would like to find something similar but my research on the web has led me to nothing. Let me know if anyone comes up with something. I have a ACU cold weather jacket from rotc but of course its ACU.

    Usually just wear the fleece here in Minot for sub freezing weather. I don't wear the parka either but do wear the GoreTex on top of the fleece.

    Also if your parka is like the Navy one, You can zip in any fleece. I have a black north face fleece that zips into it just like the Navys black fleece.

    Zips into it? Like making 2 into 1? No unfortunately our fleece and parka/gortexs dont combine.
