From my experiences in the lighting world, you get what you pay for...pretty much goes for anything on our trucks really.

 

Yeah that's what I told him before he got them! Last time he had a problem we kinda got into a fight and I fuck you I'm not helping you anymore. He had a fuse go out and lost all tail light and stuff. Checked all the fuses under the hood but not their and all where good, he would not go in the house and get me the manual so I can find the ones under the dash and told me their is not any under the dash, and wanted to argue about it. He left and few hours later got a text that said he found fuses under the dash and fixed the problem. I think the led DTRL/front blinkers is what blew the fuse because he put them in that day.

 

All I got outta this was that you fuck your brother but not anymore and you are illiterate as fuck! This one was pretty bad sir.

Back to mpg talk ......... This is what I'm getting as of lastnight. I restarted it with a full tank and have gone through half of it. This is with about 60/40 split of city/highway drivin and a fucked up alignment cause of my uniball about to implode. Also waiting to change my spark plugs with 96k on them and rebalance my tires. I don't drive to get the best possible gas mileage but I don't drive hard or fast. Never go over 3k and never go more then half throttle. Well .... Not often anyway.

 

Did you recalibrate it when you put the 35's on there?

 

Yeah I did. My Speedo didn't change with just 33s on, then when I did the 4.88s it was off by 13 at 70, then with that fixed the 35s was off my 2 at 70. Oh and that fuckin recalibrater is a fuckin joke. it doesnt work like it's supposed to. Right now I have it set at running 4.88s with 31" tires to get my speedo to read accurate. I literally just had to plug it in, go drive around, see how much it was off, come back home, take it out, plug it in to the computer, guess on a reprogram, then repeat the process till it was right. Fuck that piece of shit. And half the times I crank my truck, my speedo doesn't work at all!! Fuck it. Saving miles I guess

 

So half the time you're not racking up any miles on the truck? Like, 'oh hey, my truck has 200k miles on it, let's forget the fact that half the time it doesn't add miles to it, making it more like 250k. Nbd guys

 

I was talking about recalibrating the ultra gauge. So, you bought one of those recalibrater's for the speedometer? I never found one that I really liked for the speedometer... So, I just know how far I am off, but I did recalibrate the ultra gauge to tell me how fast I am going. I am right at 10% off. With the 4.56 gears and 35's, if I am at 70, then I am really doing 77. 60=66, etc...

 

Yeah pretty much. And I only put it on a few months ago but I've been in 95K for ducking ever it seems like. It's almost every morning that it does it. All that reads are my rpms. About 20 miles to work one way. And don't even fuckin say nothin about the miles not really being the miles. No one gives a fuck unless I sell my truck. Read what Danny just wrote. Anyone with different gears and/or different tire size then stock is either saving miles or putting more miles then actual on their truck. I wouldn't trust the odo of any lifted truck because of this reason

You can do that? And I didn't even know it read mph. Lol but that speedo calibrator ain't worth a fuck. I've got it now so I'm gonna use it but I would never buy it again.

 

brother has cheap ass Drop in HIDs in his tundra, has lots of problems that he wants me to fix, would won't listen to me and speend more money and get better stuff. And I told him to fuck off the last time when he wanted to argu about fuses being under the dash.

Yea, I average 14mpg...on a good day. Usually more around 12-13.

Ok brother has 40k truck. But spends 20.00 on lights. He doesn't understand why they suck. Then he gets pissy when they suck and throws a temper tantrum. Zach tries to help but instead tells brother to go fuck off. Then he tells him to spend more money and buy more lights from a reputable dealer. And brother doesn't listen instead blames 40k truck on 20.00 headlights. ......

Hahaha that's fuckin awesome then!!! And 95 is pretty decent miles for 5 years old. You make it seem like I only drive 5k miles a year. Haha
