We have a timeshare at a luxury resort right at the base in Breckenridge that houses six people. I think we get it over spring break...otherwise I can get it for $50 a night.

Let me know if anyone is going to be out in co this winter. I don't normally go to the resorts much but I can for a few days. If anyone wants to make an extreme trip out to silverton let me know. But please be able to ski/ride extreme terrain though it's no joke down there. :D

I'll have to see when I go to the springs tonight. My friends down there raided them. I want to go to the chiefs game and I don't know if I can. And they are my tickets haha!! I've been too busy to even go to any games this year. But I'll check what's left.

i was actually thinking this because i love dobermans and for some reason the local shelter always has some mini dobers.

although if size wasnt a factor i'd adopt an akita they also always have akitas

My German short hair pointer is great as long as you give her attention and let her play. They need to have things to do. But mine is great with my daughter and is a big snuggler. Mine is maybe 40 pounds. Much better "family" dog than my lab. He is only concerned with what I'm doing and pretty much only listens to me. But I did have him when I was single. He gets annoyed with my daughter but be just walks away from her. My pointer will let my daughter climb on ride on and jump off the couch onto her.

german short hair pointers, i've learned, are excellent but too big. my mother in law has a labrador/chow mix which is excellent and very protective (getting more protective as she ages) a young cholate lab and a german short hair pointer (her fiance's hunting dog) and the lab is a little rough but loves playing with my son. the GSHP is very protective and even if she walks away fora few minutes she'll come back to make he's ok and takes a damn beating from him and just takes it all in stride.

    Well la-de-FUCKING-da haha.

I'll be at Granby ranch or whatever it's called for new years. Not sure I'm ready for Silverton though, I consider myself a pretty good snowboarder but riding tight trees still scares the bejesus out of me (I should probably get a helmet :anonymous: ) and from the looks of it everything there that's open enough to be enjoyable is double diamond territory.
