Couple people asked to do Tilted Kilt again, because they couldn't make it last time. Either way, whoever wants to plan tomorrow's OC meet can go for it. I wont be able to make it.



BTW, I have a pair of King 3" by 16" by 700lbs springs, literally less than 500 miles on them. Looking for $150, or trade for 3" by 18" by 600lbs. A couple scuffs on the powdercoat, which is why I can't exchange them at King.

 

what rate are you using now and why the change?

 

does anybody know where i can pickup a double din dash kit locally? i can't find anybody local that stocks them. i can only find them online but i need one ASAP. having a broken radio sucks ass!

 

Fox shocks for the 72 Nova

 

16" 700lbs. It's way too rough on the road, and I can barely push down on the truck by hand on the front bumper. It's too stiff.

I'm just going to valve the shocks for a bit stiffer compression, and run the 600lbs coils. My kidneys are beginning to hurt.

i feel the same way with my #700's. i just need to get off my lazy ass to order a rebuild kit so i can revalve when im in there. but im staying with the 700's to keep a proper ride height without having a bunch of preload on the springs, thats even worse

 

well what do you know? you dont have 35s, or 4x4 or long travel or....

 

that is long way for some wings. when i have early game down at lakewood i will have to try that out.

Like I mentioned yesterday, with a V6, 4WD, 125lbs front bumper, double cab, and the 700lbs are still too stiff for me.

I feel like you'll be riding on bricks with your truck on 700lbs springs. Maybe do a 14" 600lbs, so you wont need to crank down the collars for the ride height, but it'll ride the same as factory Icons.
