Torr wasnt even deep, this the orange soup is from the rust. Nothing is broken in it. Think maybe the water shorted out the motor?

It's possible the water shorted the motor, I am willing to be though, if you clean with contact cleaner that is okay to use on electrical components and put it a bowl and cover it with white rice, it might soak up all the moisture and work like new. I would think if the motor got wet, a fuse would blow first although I'm not too good with DC motors or circuits.

it's a brushed motor though, so the magnets could very well have already rusted/siezed to the inside of the motor case.

Wonder where the water came in though, I know they aren't technically water proof but you would think it would be quite water resistant since it's on the bottom of the cab and there clearly is a gasket present.
