Another reason I think I'll go with the plate version. 14 years of rust build up will be too much work to clean up and hide with paint for me haha.

hey guys, anybody know anyone or have some OEM roof rails they want to get rid of? I really want the OEM and the dealer wants 300 brand new. I've seen them on TW for 180-225 but they always go within min.

He's been gone on TDY for awhile and I'm up at work so I know he's been busy. The garage is a mess right now too, and I know we've been trying to get things together before the snow comes so I mean I wont say for sure that you may be waiting awhile but I wouldnt really be expecting things to happen any time soon. It would be better to go to the hobby shop and work on it honestly cuz once the garage is together and organized we're not going to want to make a mess again haha. Ill shoot him a text and see if hes back from his trip and get a status on the garage and have him get in touch with you but like I said If your looking at getting this all done anytime withing the next month and a half or so your best bet is going to be going to the hobby shop or maybe seeing if someone else has some space in thier garage for us to work on it and then we'll try and work somthing out with our schedules. Thats the other big obstacle is trying to get the two of us on an off cycle together to work on it. I know niehter of us really wanna tackle a project like that without at least someone else whos got some above average experience working on the truck just cuz it makes things go much smoother, cuz it doesnt matter if your truck is brand new off the floor haha swaping major components like susp. things can and will go wrong at some point in time and it makes it easier when you have someone else with some good mechanical skills to back you up. Plus the work gets done faster. It took us almost 4.5/5 days to do his truck the first time and we dont have that kind of time off anymore and once you start if you run into problems it takes more time and you could be stuck without a truck for a week or more till we could get more time to work on it. I just dont to start on your truck and not have the time to finish it becuase of complications ya know. After we did nicks truck the first time it was easy swaping it all over to my truck because we had already delt with that set up and knew how it needed to get done.

    Thanks man!

Alright guys, as most of you know I have basically an entire new suspension in my spare room. Its time I remedy that. Is there a way to schedule a mass mod day so we can all pitch in and get the new shoes underneath ol' winnifred? I think it'd be way fun to do it with all the folks ai wheel with so I can blame one of you in person when I break something. :p
We'd need a dry place to work and I'll bring the food and beverage.

I dont have the tent on and I'm intentionally leaving it off so that I can fit in garages. Itd be funny if we built it and then it was too big to get out. I bet thats happened to someone.

I had a friend who lifted a 83 Chevy and realized it was to tall so he just deflated the tires. I found it pretty funny I'm sure there is someone that wasn't as lucky
