well yeah, that's true. yours isn't that old. I just kinda have a different sense of 'old' because my 15 year old truck is getting closer and closer to 300k. i probably have 2 or 3 more oil changes before then.

 

Are you complaining? I feel good driving my truck and knowing that everything I've put it through I haven't had to fix shit. You almost got 300k and drive that turd everyday just like any other person with a well running truck does no matter how many miles are on it. That would make me feel awesome about the vehicle I chose for myself. Proud to drive a yoga. That's for damn sure

 

Oh, I love it for sure. I'm pretty sure it's at 284k right now, and it cranks every morning like it's brand new. I love it, and I think it's something special for sure. I plan on driving this truck every day until it dies, which hopefully will be after I graduate college and have a little bit of money saved up to upgrade afterwards. What I hope to do is to keep it, get in a half/3 quarter ton truck after college, and use the bigger truck as a DD and build up this one. Maybe a motor swap, SAS, just use it as a platform for tinkering and such.

 

This site is causing me to spend all my hard earned money. I worked 60 hours straight with no sleep and started hallucinating. Oil field life is crazy

Anyone ever bent a tie rod? Had a guy follow me in his 6" lifted 2011 taco on 35's and bent a tie rod like it was nothing.

 

Were you wheeling the taco? and around here?

 

Not on my tacoma. But on the Mustang Yep. Many of them. Cost of lowering those cars. And it drives like ass wobble steering and shakes. But nothing to keep from driving but I wouldn't do any auto cross with one. I usually would replace it a week or so after unless I was off when it bent then change it right away. Kinda like the guy on here that keeps extra axles. He knows he's going to break them. Same with the Mustang.

 

oh trust me i did! tired of fixing his shit when he can spend more and get better quality stuff but wont.

Ok guys, I saw Cody's picture in the funny picture thread about fishing for white girls, and I'm seriously considering the idea. We have a starbucks on campus, and I wanna get a cup, get my fishing pole, and just post up on the main patio and see if I get any bites. Any advice on fishing for white girls?
