I think Stanford will jump to 3. Stanford did their job now lsu and FSU needs to theirs

 

Baylor's win last night was more quality than any win OSU has had the past 2 years. Plus they still have Texas, TTU. If they win out they will leap frog Ohio State. Just looking at the teams Ohio State is not better nor would they be favored over: Bama, FSU, Baylor, Stanford or Oregon. When it is all said and done, at the end of the year they have a chance that they never played a ranked opponent.

 

I already agreed on the Baylor point in my first post. So you are saying, in your personal opinion OSU is not better than Bama, FSU, Baylor, Stanford or Oregon, Gotcha. Moot point, it won't matter in the end.

 

I'd wager any of those five teams, (along with a few others) would embarrass Ohio State.

 

I agree... Each of those teams would be favored over tOSU... Some (Alabama, FSU) heavily favored.

 

It is more of not rewarding scheduling softies for the non-conference games. That should go away next year since they will be selected by a committee and SOS will play a big factor. I dunno why they got away from playing Texas or someone from another big 4 conference. Being and FSU fan, at least they always play florida, before miami joined the acc them, and the bethune cookman game was a result of WVU backing out of the 2 year deal.

 

Had to have the Duck Soup last night,,,Now its like this Bama and FSU for the title. Bama wins.It sucks but thats how I see it..

 

Whoever said Stanford would jump to 3 is incorrect. They lost to Utah. Even beating an unphysical Oregon can't make up for that

 

I said 4, and they were at 5 with that loss to Utah.

After last night, surely you don't think Oregon would have gotten the job done either, do you?

 

I am not sure if FSU goes unbeaten that they can beat bama, but they match up way better than oregon does. Oregon doesnt have the physical lines. Ask ND how physical the line play from bama is.
