I will post up an amended signup tomorrow at noon. If anyone objects or seconds, PM me.

The plan will be Cedro Peak, 4 truck limit, Saturday the 9th, leaving town around 10am-ish?

I will be up for this since less driving is involved.

Kyle, I'm willing to pull your truck up whatever it can't make. Might have a winch by then as well.

I'm also thinking that Farmington will be the first overnighter. Not sure when we'll replan it for.

All the tougher obstacles are optional. You could do the main road through the whole area in a 2wd with a little pull here and there, assuming there's no snow, and just pick and choose what you want to try as far as the hard stuff goes.

I'm open to other suggestions as well. We could do a La Bajada/Caja Del Rio/Diablo Canyon run too (45 mins to TH). If it's not too snowy, a run to the top of Mt. Taylor is always fun (1.5 hour drive to TH).

    @Tacomamba

Just to clarify, Cedro Peak is located off I-40, just east of ABQ.

I see under your username that you're located in Farmington, and it would be a long drive down to ABQ for a couple hours of 'wheeling.

My Wife made some plans for Saturday, so I'll be free and available to head out for this one. If nobody else wants to go I'll probably go run it solo.

Oh yeah. Not a problem. If more goes then it's worth the drive. Why are you limiting the number of trucks......

limiting number of trucks because it is a small area with heavy use.

BTW, we probably won't exceed 5 trucks on this run and if we do, we'll just split into 2 parties or something.

I've been waffling because of work, but if I don't have to work tomorrow I'd like to go.

I won't know if I'm working tomorrow until this evening, though.

Hope you can make it, it'd be nice to meet you.

Tom, I'll give you a call later tonight to iron out any details. I've got to go home after work and put my skid plates back on, which should double as my workout for the day.

    Thanks, likewise.

I'll be there tomorrow morning. I haven't washed my truck from the North Rim run, so I'm pre-mudded. :washing:

I'm about to hit the gym. I was just planning on meeting up at 10am down at Central and Tramway then improvising. I haven't been up in Cedro Peak so was looking to follow your lead. I should be home around 8pm if you want to call then.

Very nice! Think of the existing mud as a "wax" of sorts...

10am at Central/Tramway works for me. I think there's a grocery store on the SE corner... a Smiths? I'd be glad to show you guys around and I'll bring a map so you can get a feel for it.

Yeah, the Albertson's is there at 4 Hills Village Shopping Center on the SE corner.

And, yes, a guided tour would be awesome. Being so close gives us plenty of time to explore.

OK, just got off the phone with Nick. I brainfarted.

We're meeting up at the Smith's on the SE corner of Tramway and Central.

The Smith's and not the Albertson's. The Smith's.
