AZ camping/wheeling on Log Corral trail 11/9-11/10

Good call on the weekend. Forgot about that.

What better way to celebrate our nations heroes than to enjoy the freedoms they provide to us by being out in the free wilderness, clean air, doing the things we love.

 

Yeah and I am sure my gf has something awesome planned as it is not only Veterans Day for me but the Marine Corps birthday is also on Sunday.

 

Specalt confirmed he is still coming.

 

Since I am not too familiar with the area what should I expect for temperatures? Basically same as Scottsdale or does the elevation change a bit and make it cooler?
I haven't been up that way since fishing a tournament at Roosevelt over 20 years ago.

 

Probably going to drop into the low 50's overnight out there since we're going to be in the open desert by the water. Plan for mid to low 40's though. During the day it's going to be 82 degrees though.

I believe we decided not to add any more trucks George. The trail is pretty gnarly and as it is, it's going to take a while to creep through the first rough gnarly mile with 10 trucks

i already wanted to keep it to about 5 trucks, so were already over that Limit..
i wheel like every weekend though so ill make sure to post up more to get more peeps out there!
