Oh hell. I went to the camera shop today. Looked at a Nikon 60mm macro and Tokina 10-17mm fisheye. Ended up walking out with a bag and a box.

Photomatix is destroying anything I load into it now. Way worse than before. It is showing as if I loaded previous images AND the ones I'm working on. Like it's merging a picture of a building and a photo of a landscape and destroying both. I've messed with it on and off all day. I don't understand but if anyone has a tip let me know. This is a little frustrating.

Mac and I don't know but I don't check the 32 bit box when I start it up.

It fixes it if I shut the computer down entirely and start it back up for a few photos before it gets messed up again. But not if I just click Restart on the laptop.

Macbook Air 13. Just got Photomatix Pro so I'm assuming it's the newest version.

Didn't get the lens. Bought a light stand, speedlight/umbrella mount, and an umbrella.

Been wanting a set for a while now.

I'd probably uninstall it and clean house of all photomatix files and reinstall.

The 64 or 32 bit shouldnt really matter cuz if you tried to install a different bit copy than your processor is running it would probably just flat not work... you should be 64 (betting you have an i5 or i7 in there) bit since the last processors to run 32 were the solo and duo which are super old now haha.

Do you press the red x to close out of Photomatrix or CMD+Q to quit the application?

I CMD+Q to close most things. I also click the x on the photo that is up before I CMD+Q the whole program. Perhaps user error? Am I missing something?

Bobcape, those are amazing. I love wildlife photog but the one that really just POPS to me is the Rock in the foreground and the the valley/clearing surrounded by trees. SUCH a beautiful shot! Very nice, man.

Ok. Try just CMD+Q once you finish and save your edit? Then open up new pictures to edit. I dont really have any other ideas if you are CMD+Q. Nothing you are doing is wrong in my eyes. Im usually just to lazy to press the red x and just straight CMD+Q after saving :anonymous:

It's happening on and off but I won't bother clogging up this thread anymore unless it really persists and I can't figure it out. I'll see if I can figure out the variable. Just thought someone might be more nerdy than myself and know exactly what to do haha thanks a lot guys!
