My asus mother board took a shit and continues to be a pain in my side

 

Laptop problems..

 

I've had my laptop for a year and a half now, still no issues and runs everything just fine. There's nothing wrong with laptops Monte! Haha

 

they suck far as im concerned. they never last..

Both my Desktops are made of stuff almost 6 years old..my only issue is im out of hard drive space on my C:\ Drive...which is easy to fix...get another hard drive..done! see you do that to your Laptop..i mean..yea you can..but..i can hold 8...haha

 

I don't get it, they last just as long as desktops do for everybody I know?

My laptop can hold two internal hard drives and up to 3 external drives the way it is now. I don't need that many hard drives though, that's what a solid state and a 2 terabyte hard drive is for

Why you would want 8 separate hard drives is beyond me.

I had issues with these little guys overheating when I cranked up the voltage on the cpu during overclocking so I added some heatsinks.


Everything barely fits on that micro ATX board. haha

 

Can't wait to build myself another desktop someday...

 

I'm rocking a 17" ASUS laptop. Can't take a desktop to Iraq with you really. haha Had it for like years and use it pretty solidly every single day. Still works just fine.

It has two 500GB hdd's in it and could fit a 3rd if I pulled the CD drive.

 

I was going to drop about $2-$3K into a BAMF desktop when I got home from Iraq. Instead I bought a Taco and dump all my money into it. haha

 

I currently just have a internal and external 500gb hard drive each. Probably have to upgrade the internal one to a larger one at some point. But I couldn't have a desktop right now. As much as I travel and the fact that I'm on the third floor of the dorms, it just makes more sense. Once I get my own place I'll sit down and build myself a nice desktop. But for now my Alienware serves me well

 

This sounds a lot like what you are going thru right now with the music career.

Is that a tweeter? I think I had/have a set just like that. Never ended up using them in my car though.

Yeah, a tweet. Part of the components I am installing.

I prefer to label this as "fitting". Fortunately, the hole was already there. Just had to massage it a bit to get the tweeter to fit it.

yea then you get in to tolerances..im sure most of those parts are 10-15%...so there is a +/-10-15% error in them..

so yea..probably not the most accurate thing..but works. 73º would be plenty hot..
