Would you recommend this. Does it make that much difference? Would it be just as good of an idea to put on a new muffler or just remove some other parts such as the cataylitic converter. How bad does our system actually breathe? Obviously it would be a better idea to install a Trd intake with headers followed by a high flow muffler. If you were to do one at a time in which order would you suggest. I am offshore again and very bored. I have read a bunch of threads involving this I am just collecting info.

I have the DT long tubes that replaced the front cats. I installed the TRD intake and exhaust first. Some power gains, but still minimal. Switched to a Magnaflow, just more noise. Added the headers and noticed more pep and a lot more noise. Back to the TRD exhaust and found a happy balance.

    Intake
    Exhaust
    Headers

    In that order.

I went on from there with more serious mods for the big gains.

Did the Headers increase gas mileage? I am sure most don't care but I like to get both if possible. Thanks
