So I just orderd my hi lift jack and was wondering which attachment everyone is using to lift VIA their sliders. I know there are several companies out there, like rocktek, that make them. Just looking for positive feeback. Thanks.

I don't use any attachment, those attachments just look like a solution in search of a problem.

+1. I've never needed an adapter. Highlift direct on the slider rails works fine.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
This ^ I always just lift on the slider it self.

I couldn't justify spending $50 for something I could make with some scrap metal, a welder and a grinder.

So I copied that design made my own.

Mostly it was just a learning project while playing with my new welder.

I have a question about using my hi-lift. How many of you guys use your hi-lifts for things like tire rotations and what not? is it sturdy enough to keep lifted in the driveway for a good period of time? I also want to take off my wheels to re-paint them. Is it safe to use the hi lift for this? The more direct question is: Is it safe to use my hi lift and leave my truck on it for a few hours at a time?
