Hoping someone has a solution to my problem. I bought a satoshi grill from the buy/sell forum and it came with the frame painted with roll-on bedliner. I want to know what I can do to sand it off so I can plasti-dip the whole thing. Whats a good starting grit and ending grit? Should I use a spray primer before I plasti-dip it? Any input is appreciated, thanks guys!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I would think an aircraft paint stripper might work.

All my power tools are in my storage right now that's an hour away. You figure it's too hard by hand?

I'd be worried that'd chew the plastic.

You could try a can of Goof Off cleaner at lowes or walmart, this stuff is pretty strong and shouldn't hurt the plastic, just don't leave it on to long.

if you do this only do it for so long, than stop and let the primal cool down. may dad has over heated 2 by sanding and cutting stuff to long without letting it cool off good.

This will probably do the trick. Probably will need to do a good amount of scrubbing/sanding to get it all off with the stuff. It's used to wipe down areas that bedliner got onto that it wasn't intended to be applied to. Don't know how well it will work since it's been on the grille for awhile though but I'm sure it will help some.

Hand sand and patience. I've seen goof off eat through some plastics and grinding devices will just eat gouges into your plastic.
