Led reverse lights.

 

I just did my licence plate lights, next up is my brake lights and reverse lights.

I have an led license plate light too. It's a little brighter than necessary. I'm going to leave the other light bulbs stock I think.

 

Ever since I moved back to the west coast the inside of my windshield fogs up after leaving it over night. Never happened when I was in Alberta.... Any thoughts ?

I noticed when I left my dads place there was about a palm sized puddle so I was like well, I'll check it in the morning when it's light out, maybe it does have a slight leak now. Got back to my moms and stuck my head in the fender for giggles and noticed something was slinging. So got the flash light and looked under and...

Holy cow, good thing you checked. If it had leaked down to the bottom of the reservoir you would have lost all brakes.

 

I'm thinking my extreme panic brake I had to do on the way down here did something. May trade out trucks for a while. Not sure I feel safe enough to drive it now. I'm going to look everything over in the morning as well, I didn't even look at the other ones.

 

Definitely don't drive it till you get it fixed.

Isn't the boot pulled away from the wheel ?

 

I'd guess brake fluid considering her reservoir was low and it's leaving puddles on the ground.

 

I've ripped a few CVs and it definately doesn't look like CV grease since that stuff is gnarly. I'm going to step outside and look again real quick and hopefully not get eaten by a bear.

Small back story...this morning my brake dash light came on and was turning on when I accelerated and turned off when I stopped. Checked the reservoir and it was slightly above minimum. Was going to add a little to it and then I noticed this. Will be interesting to see what the level is at in the morning.

 

The cv may be another problem. It does look different.*

 

No definitely brakes. See how it dissolved the red paint off your calipers and made it run all over the place? Brake fluid is an awesome paint stripper.
