I also got a CRAVEN SPEED STUBBY ANTENNA

The reception isn't as bad as they say, I had 1 out of my 6 stations coming in very scratchy at first but then it came around and only had a little static.. might be cause I'm in the garage. Either way I don't listen to enough radio aside from Highway Advisory stuff to make it a headache

Before/Afters as usual with this thread:

Dude those kids foam mat things are amazing. They saved my knees during my suspension install and last brake job. Hell, I use them every time I even look at my truck in the driveway lol.

It was real easy taking everything apart & laying down the dynamat, but now comes the hard part of putting everything back together... and already having trouble on the rear seat belts... fack.

Thanks, it's my Dad's butt collection, there's probably somewhere around 219 butts..... just a guess though

The grey mats you mean? Yellow ones were in the rear walls by the speakers... if so then hell yes! Those things are AWESOME. I don't even want to kneel on the ground/bare cab without em, knee savers for sure.

How did you install your Expos?

Did you have to cut out the bolts or were you able to get them out and just re-used all of the bolts and shackles?

I was able to use the stock shackles/hardware. I fudged up on one of the shackle pins (passenger side I think) but luckily I had a second vehicle at the house and was able to go get another pin from the (somewhat)local hardware store

Ill comment since my retros are messed and I've been using my D2s as driving lights, bright as fuckkk and literally lights up the inside of passing cars on the 4 lane haha but no one has flashed me or looked as if they were being blinded I also aimed them down so it's not as bad

aaaaand good news I put everything back together without having spare screws.... But I snapped a screw for the rear bench where the jump seats set on. Oh well shouldn't be an issue

    Dynamat

Tearing it all apart with the help of Black Coffee & Everclear :

Ended up clearing out approximately 50' of dead ended wires from the rear door panels & underneath the carpet:
    IMG_3278_zps55b80fc0_8017ac65773a43cf0628f841768ea72c5836f258.jpg

    IMG_3277_zpsea506275_8232abe2592191bcbf4a9a636fd0f4b4e130d3a7.jpg

The rear jump seat platform was REALLY noisy when I took it out, and to think my subwoofer sits on top of that !!!
    IMG_3279_zpsceaf7b3a_a0dfa8b6c7444eecff487fe099298d3c155b55cb.jpg

So now I finally cleared out the other wires. Now all that's left is my amp wires & the CB coaxial cable, ahh feels so much better to finally know that the only wiring that I WANT is under the carpet!:
    IMG_3284_zpsa25a99f9_183eb4a9ed4a68616a3a57080cb46e426fc597f8.jpg

    and the Dynamat begins :stirthepot::
    IMG_3309_zps80fbbc1b_88b9142bcdd6f02085026be1a8cf52bf13051232.jpg

Wow that was quick in the pictures haha, all in all from the last pic to this one only took about an hour or two intertwined with A LOT of dicking around:
    IMG_3312_zps098c49e0_832b0f3b9fdba2fcb0376394ffb3c545516215e9.jpg

    IMG_3314_zps20d98ec8_978b3997913ab88f94bea666511ec931d7a38a34.jpg

I found that the rear quarter panels had very little foam in them to protect against noise/vibrations, so I cut up some old foam pads that I had for camping way back when and stuffed em into the panels:
    Passenger Side (sorry it's blurry):

    IMG_3316_zpsd167a8c8_cc03394ec0a6f033c94ffb5c9de20f45bf295b09.jpg

and while I was at it, I scrubbed the shit out of the carpet so now it looks quite a bit better than it did before:

    IMG_3330_zpsfdea19c3_855a9d66cedcf26590ce56505ecc9c9c750c2476.jpg

aaaand everything goes back together (minus the seats/console) FINALLY after about 36 hours of near constant work, well... intertwined with a lot of BS:
