It looks cool bare steel, but it doesn't contrast enough with the silver in my opinion. Black would.

What a coincidence, I was listening to mine rattle last night on the trail home and wondered if there was a known fix, I hate unauthorized rattles. Thank's for bringing that link up,:) hopefully I have time later today.

I like the raw look. Black is the "color of commons" in the offroad community. A thing that breaks up the black same old same old is good. Keep that front end raw!

Honestly, if people are seriously interested in them I think they have jumped in already. I'm not sure though... $250 is due by Tuesday, the rest can be paid within the 3 weeks manufacturing time or I can also do a lay-away and hold off on shipping until the total is paid.

Well I tried that steering column rattle fix and my column assembly is somewhat different, no allen bolts, actual nuts, lots of springs. looks to be more involved, I didn't take a pic. Mine will have to come out the long way and experience has taught me to not start on the unknown on a Sunday afternoon when the Broncos are playing:cool:
    Another day for this.

I looked at the low profile, and yes, mine is a little tall, but that was the only way to get the Rotating bar option. When I rotate the bar down, with the lights on top, the total height will be lower than your low profile, with the lights on top. It took some research to decide that I wanted to go with the Rota.

Not sure what his original claim was, but 400 miles on a tank of gas, assuming a 19 gallon tank, would only be just a hair over 21MPG, which is very possible with a 4 cylinder. Maybe I am out of place because I didn't seem to locate his original post about it.

    and i don't think so..

the best i EVER got from my truck was 330ish miles and that was with 31s and no armor or really lift. was about 22-23mpg. i put in 17.4-8 gallons after that..our tanks are 18-18.5 not 19. 5 luggers are only 15..

    I knew a guy with a 4banger extended cab, 2WD, non-TRD that got 27mpg. I think it was a '97. He drove like a grandma.

I went 416 miles in my truck. It was still only 22 mpg though. I put 19 gallons in.

i dont have an 18 gallon tank when i filled up a few days ago it took 46$ at 3.15 a gallon... i average about 415-430 miles from a tank of gas. but have gotten a little more when its cool and i use the vent and no ac and leave the windows up

also my tires arent undersized i have the factory wheels from a 2010 prerunner that were take offs so my odometer actually reads slower than ive actually gone
