It was on foot. 1mile, 2k feet higher in elevation on rail road ties.

 

What's the deal with the railroad ties , was this an old mine cart path ?

 

Train rail for getting to the water distro center. The rail was destroyed in 1990, and they turned it into a running path. There is also a 12 mile running path next to it that goes all the way to pikes peak

 

Took a drive out to lost maples state park today. Another couple of weeks and all the leaves should be changing

 

But the couch is so comfy

 

Is that the incline? Been there done that, on the down climb i took one of the paths and when i was running down someones dog ran in front of me and tripped me i scraped my face and got a pretty good gash on my arm too

Yeah, the incline. It kicked my ass on the way up. The way down was awesome and I pretty much sprinted down the whole thing.
