4x inno has added a rear swing out option to their bumpers, if i can easily remove the swing out that's the bumper i'll get.
When we go to MS this winter we're gonna drop by Georgia and pick up a trailer for the quads.

Looks like a big bolt single shear spindle. Not exactly super easy but do able.

I take it you finished the stereo good?

 

Very good. Did not have a chance to play with it much, mostly verified everything is working correctly. It is.

Sucker is loud tho. Everything was set to flat, volume to 50+, all I could handle (and most likely the neighbors too) could not get it to distort even a bit.

 

I told ya it would be PLENTY loud haha bet it'll sound clean once you tune it a bit. Bet it's awesome sounding.

Since we're speaking of sound systems, how much do you guess a decent system (HU, 4 speakers, 1 amp, and 1 powered sub) would cost?

I'm not looking to rattle the car beside me, but i spend a massive amount of time outside my truck with all the windows open and the stereo turned up.

 

sky is the limit. Can spend lots.

Mike just did his whole setup with me..guiding him i guess..and he used upper end parts..i bet he spent a grand or so..but great system..

you'd need at least that for a good well balanced system IMO.

 

It really does sound clean. But now I need to put the drivers eat back in so I can drive it and play a little bit with all the settings.

It is possible to do it for a lot less tho. All depends on your budget. And you definately dont have to do it all I once. I started with a new HU. Then did the sub and amp. And finally (today ) did door and xcab speakers with an amp.

 

I was guessing around that much, i already have a aftermarket HU, but it doesn't do everything i want, so i could take ~$200 out of the cost, but i sorta want a BT HU that can change colors on the face.

I also want to dynamite or raamat my truck eventually.

Whatever i go with it'll be unobtrusive (under seat sub and amp)

Yea a sound system is a build in itself haha and dang was close!

Like Mike said, you don't need to do it all at once..when i did mine was about 1500, have dumped a bit more into now..but it more then anyone needs by far.

Matting up the whole truck helps a lot and is expensive and a bit project in itself.

takes a while to get everything ironed up unless your loaded.

and yea a good system can be had without room sacrifice too much. you only need a 8'' sub or a 10'' and your good.

Cool, your system sounds like it'd sound good.

I'll probably start with a sub sometime soon, then new speakers then a amp, then the HU, then finally sound deadening.

I vacuumed the carpet, wiped down the center console, and reinstalled my seats in under 40 minutes the other night, surely you can just drop in your seats. (or just 1 seat.

 

can't runa sub without an amp. Thats part of the deal for that. YOur HU barely can run speakers much less a sub haha

id do sound deading first even or at the same time you do speakers since you have to tear everything apart to do it.

But the deadening is so expensive, makes sense though, only pull the interior apart once and i'll have less of a change of breaking the little clips.

First mod coming up is either lights or CB, i've got both.

Have you ever seen a person mount lights in the cutouts in the bumper valance?
I've got some 55W halogens that'll fit as long as i build the mounts right, i can use them as fogs.
