I am still trying to make the ceremonies today at Veterans Park in my town. I hope to work it out this morning and be able to attend. If I can I will post up pics for all to enjoy.

I love how Marines operate! One of the best experiences of my active duty career was 4 months TDY on a Joint Op with a Marine Lt Col as my Director of Operations.

I was not able to make the ceremony today. I had an important meeting at church which went from 10:00 to 11:38. I was there is sprit but not in the flesh.

Mom and Dad are buried sided by side at the Veterans Cemetery. You are not supposed to do anything to the soil but I add an enricher with fertilizer, aerate, and new seed every August. I also add fertilizer in the spring when the caretakers are not looking.
