You need the actually cubby though. I haven't been able to find them (without going to a stealership).

Ahh lol, hrmm aside if it costing a fortune, some could be welded up out of aluminum with locks, with a flange to bolt to the wall. I once used my rear one to store some lunch during the winter. Refrigerator!

I have a 2013 and I have two compartments near the back of the truck with plastic covers- is this what people are calling the "cubby?" I put bungee cords in there.

No. The ones we are talking about were close to the cab, and they didn't have covers on them.

I would think near the tailgate (accessibility) and covers (useful storage) would be better, no? The other thread seems people were upset they were changed.

Some one must have the OEM part numbers for these. I appreciate the tip on taping them in but I'm simply looking to replace the one I broke the tabs on. Anyone???

The part number for the front deck floor box is 64991-04011. MSRP is ~101.00. Your local dealer should be able to order.

One of those 6 volt lantern battery big yellow flashlights will jamb right in those things perfect and stay.

Handy spot to store one unless the whole stupid cubby pops out.

Just bought my Tacoma. I put a roll of paper towels in one which took up the entire space and a roll of TP in the other. Which leaves a bit of room for something else. :)
