Remote mounted the solenoid and moved the controller plug to the bumper. My idea was once I am done winching, I can have an adult beverage.

Rotated the freespool so I can access it from the front.

I used this video to help me along with some of the installation.

My Optima battery was shitting the bed so I opted for a Diehard Platinum Group 35.

What is the brand of the new topper? Did you go with the windoors? I am in the market for one for the winter up here in the great white north.

It is a Snugtop. It doesn't have windoors but I will eventually get one with them. I picked this one up for a really good price so I can't complain.

Awesome build man. That pressurized water can caught my attention. Watched your video on it and you have some interesting info.

I actually just designed a water cannon at work. Yeah and they paid me to do it. Anyway, to maintain the pressure in my tank I use a simple regulator that will ensure the water tank has 20 psi sitting on top of the water at all times. Uses the same concept except that the water exits at the bottom of my tank rather than the top. Makes more sense for you to have the way you do, since you can just pop the lid off and stick it on another can. Anyway, if you want a small regulator I can look up the part number at work and get it to you with a picture. Nothing fancy, about 2" X 2" X 3" with the gauge on it and you could plumb a quick disconnect in. Now this would mean showering at your truck which might not be what you want but still an option.

Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you. Seriously sweet build.

Interested in a part number as well since I was already thinking of adding a regulator to this setup.

    Numatics
    Part Number: MR14R-02GL

I can give some more information when I get home from work tonight.

This is one model I have used at work but mostly for regulating air cylinders. I used a much larger regulator as I had a 10 gallon air tank that kept another 10 gallons of air on top of 20 gallons of water. So I use a regulator with a 1/2" NPT fitting. The part number is for one that is 1/4". Ought to work fine. But does not plumb like a typical regulator. Usually they go straight in and straight out. This one comes in and then out the sides. So you'd have a pipe at 90 degrees. Might work better for this application. Space isn't limited on my water cannon as it is 10 foot tall and has a 200 gallon reservoir.

In case anyone is wondering, once completed it will blast chips out of machined castings (4 cyl. engine block).
