What have you done to your truck lately
Ultimate lift kit with 5160 and 2" AAL. There is no maintenance you will have to do example rebuilding it like some other brands. you never know if they might have a sale may save a few dollars.

Gotta lift that high to run tires that wide and still be able to turn..
He's gonna hate until he needs a truck like that to tow him out of some soft sand.

I have the spidertrax ones. No complaints, second vehicle I've used them on. They're hub- centric too, so they have a lip that centers to the back side of the wheel.

I got suckered by 4wheelparts online. Says free shipping and pick up in local store but the local store charges something like an 8% markup on everything! Even in stock items. So the online prices aren't honored. That's the price we pay for living here, I guess.

And to mention something, the blue anodized finish on the spidertrax looked weird to me because I could see them behind my wheels. I ended painting them black. G2 makes black ones, but they're made in China if that matters to you.
    Spidertrax is made in USA.

obviously that kid just never seen a lift done right. if that thing was a 4x2 i would agree... if i didnt have to worry about commercial shipping prices on a truck lifted that high i would have already done the same lift. that truck with some 38"s would be Kauai's Powerlines worthy... and for those who dont know what the hell im talking about, check out youtube kauai powerlines offroad

If anybody is gonna around Hawaii Kai tomorrow that has a factory tow package, please let me know. I gotta test fit a harness relocation bracket. I changed the specs but I don't have a factory bumper anymore, so I can't check the fit myself.

First off, thank you to all of you that serve or have served...

Second, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I know that a couple of you jumped on some Black Friday deals for bumpers, sliders, etc. Were the deals good enough not to pass up?

Third, thinking of possibly getting a bumper. Like the look, the increased safety, and the attachments so you guys can pull my ass out...lol.. looks like pilfrey, allpro, and arb are popular. Which is which, what is what, and is it all preference?

All depends on what you want for a bumper. I liked the Pelfreybilt bumper from the start. As for winches depending on which bumper you get there are a few winches the manufacturer recommends. As for the Pelfreybilt bumper you can use Warn winches VR 8000s -10,000s or you could be like Mike and put in the Zeon 10S but you will need the head relocation kit and heavy as ----, so you need room in your engine compartment for that. Shipping is going to kill you for the bumper look into having somebody buy at the same time if not going to cost $600 for the shipping. If you get a Pelfreybilt bumper you 'll be #5 in the state to have one. lol :D

Damn.. so as far as bumpers go, I could be paying close to as much for shipping as the bumper itself.. at least the wife has given initial approval. I just told her it's safer....

Tires then bumper, or bumper than tires...hmmmmm.

Anyone else wanna jump on a bumper soon???

Other way you can look at it buy sliders, front plate bumper, rear bumper, IFS, mid skids at the same time. Then you will get your money worth on shipping.
