You going to just lop off a few inches? Or you going to take out a center amount and bond back together?

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
^^^After seeing Jesse's (greenhatter) flares up close, I am leaning that way too if/when I get new tires. Way more clearance for 35s or 37s, easy repair, and not overtly expensive as compared to OEM flares. I already buckled the pass.rear, and the fronts aren't looking too good either.

I also got to see the Raptorliner up close. That stuff is pretty badass! Goes on thick and even with their throw-away sprayer. Stallone might be coating his truck soon

Nice man! Did your recruiter give you an MRE to try? First MRE I had from my recruiter was the sloppy joe MRE lol taste like shit! Open 03? Cool man, hope you don't become just an 0311 infantry man but maybe a 0331 machine gunner or something. I was a 0621 field radio operator. Was told electrician going in and ended up with F.R.O. end of MCT :(

True! Lucky for me working compress work weeks I get the next day off as well! Yeah from doing Rugged Maniac in June to Warrior Dash in September the heat does play a vital role! Hopefully it'll be a cool morning/afternoon.

 Was that towards us with ToughMudder talk? That picture looks like a shitty situation! Snow is fun but it can be a headache as well haha

Talkin bout his new ones (GlassWorks), but the APs fronts dont look bad either. If I do it, it would be front and back. I like how the GWs have a flat rail in the rear, but not sure how I would make it work with the canopy. Maybe try to get the plastic rail cap to fit, then the canopy's edge will have room to droop over :notsure:

The GWs are nice. They are just wide. Honestly unless your gonna increase your track width they will look a little off. The rears your canopy will fit. But you will just have about a 3-4" flat space between the canopy and the end of your fenders.

That's gonna add almost 8" of total width to your truck

Next time I see "The Tumbler" I will have to break out the tape mesure.Would be a couple years before I would even consider it, but would need to plan a few changes to coincide, i.e. - bigger tires = regear = lockers = $4500+ vs SAS + regear for not too much more. Wtf am I talking about :goingcrazy:

Fat, wide, and long...just like my........

You know it! Thing is beefy as hell. Still need to figure out what to do about lights. Either install cans w/ stock fogs, or buy some LEDs to use s fogs/driving lights.

Actually, you bang your knee a lot. ;)

We need to get over to the antenna shop sometime, yo. FYI, my antenna mount has too great of a rise and contacts the hood. I'm going to have to bang on it. Just a heads up for something to look for.

So I went to get an alignment at the dealership 2 months ago because I could see the inside edge of my front tires were wearing much quicker than the rest of the tire. I got the front tires replaced and drove to Portland a couple times. Rechecked the tires and noticed that it was much improved but the new tires were still wearing a little bit quicker on their inside edge. I took it back to the dealership because it was < 3 months or 4K miles. They looked at it and offered to try and fix it under warranty but informed me that it would be better for me to take the truck to an alignment shop in the future that specialized in off-road/lifted vehicles.

I was slightly confused since it's an OME lift that the dealership sells and installs. I have a DSM UCA that helps with alignment. When I mentioned this, they said their equipment is only set up for factory spec and for lifted alignments they outsource to Les Schwab. This was at Michael's Toyota Bellevue.

I'm totally cool with this - if the dealership is not comfortable performing a service and explain this to me, no problemo. I'm more curious if (a) this is a line of bullshit and (b) do you agree with the Les Schwab alignment recommendation?

Brett gave a decent review of Firestone alignments but wanted to get some more recommendations as well.

Schwab capabilities differ drastically with alignment.
    I'm happy with my Firestone
When they put it on the lift next, ask them to test for excessive play. Maybe bushings or ball joints in the arms need replacing

No he hasn't yet. Hah I've heard mixed reviews of MREs. They offered me 0321 but I declined since I'm not very confident in my swimming abilities. I'm hoping to eventually be 0317. What's so bad about 0311/0331?
