well guys, its been a tough last couple weeks.. my Dad passed away on Halloween. he was 56.

he was a great Father, Brother, and Son. He taught me so much. from teaching me how to drive.. letting me sit in his lap and steer his big ol ford at the age of 10.. to teaching me to shoot and getting me my first guns. he had Toyotas growing up and modded them as well. most of who i am today came from my dad. he will be deeply missed by many and never forgotten.

in the wake of this tragedy, he leaves me with many chances to start a new chapter in my life. so, to that.. i thank you dad as i try to stay focused on the positives..

i finally had some motivation to do some truck stuff.

picked up new OEM rotors and pads. had Sebastian (Cbass) knock em out for me in 20 minutes.. guy is insane at his job thanks dude!

got new clips to fix my fender flares that popped off from wheeling Sunday.

ordering Superbumps front and rear tomorrow.

grill should be here soon.

sliders will be done as soon as i can get down to the dirty T

gonna have the truck detailed in and out at the dealer along with having the seats and carpets shampoo'd

a couple other things lined up as well.. stay tuned.

 

You know my thoughts are with you and your family Josh, I know I'm a good distance but anything you need I can help with you got it.

Yeah im just trying to stay focused and busy. Did some wheeling and shooting. Now that I have all of dads guns that I have grown up shooting, it was nice to blow off some steam with lots and lots of high rate of fire from a .223. Lol

This weekend will be tough.. but good closure. Going to spread dads ashes up where I grew up for 18 years and where dad called home. He wanted to move back there and enjoy the area liked we used to.

Spreading his ashes out where we went shooting all the time. Our favorite spot with lots of memories and lots of brass. He'll love it out there.

 

Hell yes he will. Your a good man.

 

Hey Josh, really sorry to hear about your Dad. I am very close with mine and the thought of losing him sucks. I will send prayers your dad's way. Hope you are coping.

Thank you for the kind words and prayers Jonathon. I really appreciate it. Im so grateful that the last time I saw him was a great memory. Spent the whole weekend together. My dad, my grandpa, and I. 3 generations of J.L.M.

We bought our first gun together.. even tho I have had plenty on my own, to go in, look around, and have my dad there and his opinion on it when I bought another one was awesome. We finally had our first beer together since he had been out of state since i turned 21. And we went out shooting like we used growing up. We hadn't done that in atleast 7 years.. we used to cruise his 98 f150 down the dirt road at like 5 mph.. just lookin for rabbits.. and 7 years later.. we were in his 07 f150 doin the same thing but now with his own gun and my own gun.

It was the perfect weekend.

That's is a perfect weekend. I grew up in Boston and had been trying to get my parents to move down. They finally did last November and then my Dad got real sick. He has recovered now and he loves to shoot also. So we go once a week to the range and have some fun. You are fortunate to have great memories. Best of luck to you and your family Josh.

 

Glad to here your dad is doing good now. Definitely hold onto those memories man.
