It's a whole different works wheeling with a beat up truck and a trailer. You just do whatever you want and who cares if you break.

 

Just like my jeep i beat the living balls out of it on the road, good thing i've got 3 full sets of wheels and tires. Got a little carried away the other night and blew a doughnut in over drive.

I'm not even thinking about the power needed to rotate that or the loss of MPGs, but how that unsprung weight will feel...

 

I will start tire shopping next spring/summer. I don't want or need load range E but every time I casually look I end up with E's. I like getting 21+ mpg so I will have to rethink tire size

 

Tire shopping sucks. I am pretty happy with my choice, i have a feeling it wont be long until i think its time for 35s

 

I like the idea and look of 255/85 16 but you are very limited to choices

Yep. Its a great size for the stock trd OR wheels also. Im curiuos to see how cam likes the toyos in that size

Just started snowing in stoughton. More of a wet mix then snow

 

Nothing up here in Maine, just overcast.

 

Need to get the Mrs a new vehicle with 4wd before the winter really gets into full swing. Past two winters there have been multiple times her very could not make it out of the driveway our neighborhood, even after snow blowing/shoveling/ road being plowed.

 

Gotta love the snow. Not much in Ct but ill take it.

 

I'm looking forward to the snow, i love it. Got to get the Snowblower out and all tuned up and greased soon

 

What size are you thinking about? You should be able to find a SL (Standard Load) or C rated tire with some searching.

I had some flurries on the way in. It was really wet and nothing was sticking but, the way people were driving, you'd think we had a foot of snow on the ground...
