Hee hee hee... was going to pick my sister up from work today when I felt the truck bog down. I figure it was just part of my ongoing o2 Sensor problem, (it does that sometimes.) but then I stopped at a red light and the truck died. I knew then and there that I must have been out of gas- my fuel gauge doesn't work, so I never know how much I have. (Though I could have sworn I had more than what I had.) So I throw on my hazards and shift into park so I can start the truck. Guess who pulls up behind me? A Johnny! He throws on his lights and gets out of his car.
"How old are you, kid? Don't look old enough to drive."
"Twenty, sir." I show him my license.
"Why you stopped right here?"
"Ran out of gas, sir."
"Well why'd you run out of gas?" He's sorta joking at this point.
"Fuel gauge doesn't work, sir."
"Ah, I gotcha. Well I'll hold up traffic if you think you can get this thing over into the parking lot there."
"Will do, sir. Thank you."
"No problem, bud."
He stops traffic as I turn the truck on and pull over into a parking lot. He then comes over as I am grabbing my lawn mower's gas can out of the bed of the truck.
"Oh, good, you've got some gas. Will that be enough to get you to a gas station?"
"Should be, sir. Thank you, sir."
"I hope it is. Good luck, kid."
"Thank you, sir."
He gets in his car as I get back in my truck, and he follows me to the gas station just to be sure that I make it. I pull up to a pump, and he gives me a thumbs up before driving off.
What a cool Johnny!

Yes I do. I only have a 3 mile drive each way to and from work though.

 

Some chilly tits this morning

 

Driving is good for it, I bought it in July of 11' too, so its only 29 months old. I know I'm nowhere near the highest mileage per year on this site.

Where you from I'm from western md we got snow but not that much

 

West Virginia. Like my location says. Lol. I guess it hit more here. 3 inches and still snowing.

I had to edit my post. I just saw western and I thought you meant out west then I saw MD. I'm in north-ish central. Mainly central.
