Not stupid - just not what I would do. I'm sure plenty of people do it.

I paid $12.50 per wheel for my wheels so going to 16's isn't costly to do at all.

Personally I would never use/buy aluminum wheels to "wheel" with. To each their own but I know steel wheels take way more abuse than aluminum and if you ever do bend a bead you can usually whack it back. OE steelies are also the shit. Their design is great, they are readily available, the perfect width, and don't weigh as much as some would think + ain't no one goi9ng to steel them unless they are morons.

I wait and search. Shit doesn't show up overnight. Good deals take time to find and you gotta be ready to jump on them.

I really paid $100 for 4 and got a set for of 4 free so 8 for $100. If you consider I sold my center caps and lug nutz from them and Josh bought me beer and John lunch for giving them each spares I actually paid much less.

I hear that...I want to get skids/OBA/tires/wheels and all of that just keeps adding up...and at the end of it all, it doesn't make much sense to have all that stuff on a 99% of the time daily driver really.

Dude you do not want Craigs old rear lift. That's shits been passed around more then a hooker at a harbor on fleet weekend. I gave him those springs years ago and they were shot when the guy I got them had them. Those wheelers AAL's are only good for a year or two max and I know his are FUBAR. Just save up and start fresh.

It's seriously not worth the trouble with a cheap lift IMO.

Who needs a lift anyway? Shits overhyped.

IMO - Best formula is big tires and no lift unless your hucking boulders on a regular basis.

I feel the same. I'll be happy with my new rubber and maybe the sliders. New rubber and a working e-locker should be all I need to take on twerk hill.
